Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

Report to clinical coordinator or practice administrator
-
Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or physician assistant

Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms
-
Escort patients to exam rooms, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's chart
-
Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant

Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities
Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Education/Training/Experience:
-
Preferred: Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program or formal medical service training program of the United States Armed Forces OR Associates degree or higher in a clinical healthcare field (such as LVN, RN, Medical Technologist) and two years back office medical experience
Licenses/Certifications:

Current CPR certification
